Diminutive Neoclassical Maison Jansen style console table, possibly by Mastercraft of Grand Rapids. Bronze table with rectangular, metal-clad wood top over four square tapering legs having acanthus form capitals and paw feet, joined by x form side supports and a turned carved wood stretcher. Old Grand Rapids, Michigan label to underside. 30 1/2 in. H x 40 in. W x 15 1/4 in. D. American, second quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: A Nashville, TN estate.
CONDITION: Significant oxidation, wear and some staining and pitting to bronze legs, possibly from some outdoor exposure. Some splits to wood stretcher. Table top is bronze-colored metal and is magnetic; it has some scattered minor stains and wear.
