Pair (2) of gilt bronze Neoclassical or Neo Grec style urns fitted as lamps, featuring central portrait medallions and Greek key decoration with scrolling handles. Base with grape and vine decoration, and top with foliate and pierced decoration; one having an acanthus leaf finial. Both mounted atop red marble plinths and fitted as lamps with later brass additions. 33" H x 7" W x 7" dia. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Chipping to both bases, some warping, oxidation, and separations to brass additions. Some surface scratching and patination to tops cohesive with age. One lamp missing brass finial.
