Kentucky coin silver soup or punch ladle with plain fiddle handle, stamped A.F. Shepard in rectangle for Alpheus Xavier Francis Shepard, working Georgetown, before 1817-1831+. Handle monogrammed “McG” and also engraved 1827. 12″ L. 5.938 troy ounces. Circa 1827.
CONDITION: Handle with script monogram. Overall very good condition with light general surface wear, minor bowl dents.
