Grouping of United States Colonial currency, Confederate States of America (CSA) notes, and Civil War-era coins, 11 items total. 1st-4th items: Four (4) Colonial currency items, including one (1) October 1778 Boston Two Shillings note; one (1) 1776 Philadephia Two Thirds of a Dollar note; one (1) 1774 Maryland Half Dollar note; and one (1) George III coin, illegible date and denomination. All hinged mounted with white archival tape and housed under glass in a giltwood frame. Sight: 13 3/4" H x 13 1/4" W. Framed: 16" H x 15 1/2" W x 2" D. 5th-6th items: Two (2) 1864 CSA $20 Twenty Dollar bills, one (1) serial number 15942 and one (1) serial number 53400. Both float mounted to an off white mat. Mat: 15" H x 14 1/4" W. 7th-11th items: Five (5) Civil War-era coins, including one (1) 1861 90% Silver Three Cent piece; three (3) Two Cent pieces, with one (1) 1864 and two (2) 1865; and one (1) 1865 Three Cent Nickel. 90% silver coin: .020 total troy ounces.
CONDITION: 1st-4th items: All items in circulated condition. Minor losses to edges of notes. Two shillings note with 1/4" square area of loss to center, appears to have been cut down at the lower margin. Not examined outside of frame. 5th-6th items: About uncirculated (AU 50). 7th-11th items: All coins in circulated condition.
