Twenty (20) pieces Gorham Fontainebleu pattern sterling silver flatware, including 1 large cheese scoop (9 1/4" L), 1 sauce ladle, 3 tablespoons, 9 salad forks (6 3/4" L), 4 dessert spoons, and 2 teaspoons. Combined weight: 29.68 troy ounces. Late 19th century. Note: The Fontainebleau pattern, introduced 1880, was the first design created for Gorham by famed French silversmith Antoine Heller. It depicts various characters from the court of Francis I.
CONDITION: All pieces with some wear, most notably the teaspoons. All pieces monogrammed M or W. Some additionally engraved with date 1884.
