Lot 710: 2 Antique Yomut or Yomud Chuval Rugs

Two (2) antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Chuval rugs, wool on wool, both with central deep rust or brick red field, one rug with three rows of three guls and one rug with four rows of four guls. One rug with a diamond lower elam panel and the other with a plain red lower elem panel. Woven in colors of rust, salmon, blue, red, and cream. 4 ft. 1 in. x 2 ft. 8 in. and 3 ft. 6 in. x 2 ft. 7 in. Circa 1880 and 1890. 

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: Both are in overall very good condition.
