Boston coin silver milk pitcher, Neoclassical form with round body and foot foot, acanthus overlay to handle and bands of leaf and floral chased decoration to shoulder and foot. Marked to underside in rectangles for Harris & Stanwood (working circa 1835), with “Boston” and “Pure Coin”. 9 1/2 in. H, 15.37 oz. troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Kentucky collection, by descent from Jeannette Marks of Lexington.
CONDITION: Several small dents to body and more noticeable dents to foot, otherwise very good condition.
