English sterling silver entree dish and cover, rectangular form with curved corners, two side handles, and gadroon rims, hallmarked for Barker Bros. Ltd, Birmingham, England, 1928. 3 1/2 in. H x 10 1/2 in. W x 7 in. D. 49.54 Troy oz. Accompanied by a 1929 letter from A. Spieswood (?) of Mann Byers & Co. Ltd, giving this dish as a wedding present to a “Miss Hulley (or Kelley).”
CONDITION: Some wear to marks, otherwise excellent condition.
