Two (2) Adolf Arthur Dehn (New York/Minnesota, 1895-1968) lithographs on paper. 1st item: Lithograph on Chine applique paper titled "Corner of Raspail & Edgar Quinet" depicting a cityscape with architecture, trees, and figures. Numbered in pencil "9/30" lower left, signed and inscribed in pencil "Adolf Dehn, 1928/ For Ma Ditch a fellow lithograph guy…" lower right. Letter of authentication from the Fanny Garver Gallery in Madison, WS including the title of the work adhered en verso. Housed in a wooden frame with an off-white mat. Sheet: 11" H x 14 1/2" W. Framed: 19" H x 22 1/2" W. 2nd item: Lithograph on paper depicting a view of Central Park with a lake, trees, and figures and the Manhattan skyline in the background. Signed in pencil "Adolf Dehn" lower right. Housed in a painted wooden frame with a mat. Sheet: 8 5/8" H x 13 1/8" W. Framed: 17 1/8" H x 21 1/4" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both items not examined outside of frames. 1st item: Overall good condition with light toning and foxing spots to edges. 2nd item: Overall excellent condition.
