Signed “John S. de Martelly” in pencil, lower right. Title and information about the work attached, en verso. Housed in a simple wood frame and matted under glass. Sheet: 9 1/2″ H x 12″ W. Framed: 16 1/2″ H x 19 3/8″ W. 2nd item: Asa Cheffetz (New York/Massachusetts, 1897-1965) print titled “May Sunlight” depicting a landscape with a farmhouse. Signed “Asa Cheffetz” in pencil, lower right. Housed and matted in a wood frame under glass. Sheet: 6 1/2″ H x 10 1/4″ W. Framed: 15″ H x 18 1/8″ W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Not examined outside of frames. 1st item: Light toning, otherwise in overall good condition, mat with toning and frame with light overall wear. 2nd item: Overall good condition. Light wear to frame.
