YORK in rectangle for Geradus or Gheradus Boyce, working New York City 1814-1854. Central reserve monogrammed "C.A. Duncan" in script. Molded rim and acanthus overlaid handle. 9"H. 24.63 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina.
CONDITION: Areas of persistent tarnish, seam line showing at center of body. 1 1/2" vertical line of separation to one panel, pitcher not watertight above this line.
