English Blunderbuss Converted Percussion Pistol. Walnut stocks, round brass barrel with flared muzzle (1 7/8" across), trigger guard, lock plate, side plate, ramrod holder, and butt cap, iron hammer, breech block, tang, and bootstrap. Unmarked. Barrel length: 5 1/2". Overall length: 11". Late 18th/early 19th century.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with normal surface wear to brass, barrel with some interior dings, 1/8" x 7/8" old loss, or possibly in the making, to lower edge. Trigger guard with old modification. Ramrod is not present. Stock with light dings, some screws slightly buggered, some nails appear to be missing to the forearm. Action does not hold. Bootstrap is loose.
