Two (2) Antique Turkman Tekke Torbas, Aina and Chuval. 1st item: Antique Tekke Turkmen Torba, wool on wool, the center field with three rows of three guls interspersed with stylized foliate designs, all within three primary borders. Woven in red, blue, salmon, and cream colors. 4 ft. 11 in. x 2 ft. 11 in. Circa 1870s. 2nd item: Tekke Turkman Torba with Aina guls, wool on wool, four rows of three guls on a foliate ground. Woven in red, blue, and cream colors. 2 ft. 1 in. x 1 ft. Third quarter of the 19th century.

PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.

CONDITION: Both rugs are in overall good condition, with losses to fringed ends. light wear.
