Attributed to Cornelius Haly Hankins (Mississippi/Tennessee, 1863-1946) oil on canvas still life, depicting an overturned brass bucket of apples on a tabletop. Unsigned. Antique molded giltwood frame. Sight: 14 in H x 20 in W. Frame: 22 in H x 29 in W.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN collection, ex-Lyzon Gallery.
CONDITION: Painting has been cleaned with skinning in some areas and lined, with a few scattered spots of retouch up to 1″ diameter. Painting does not fit perfectly in the frame opening.
