Thirty-two (32) handmade transparent swirl glass marbles. Includes seven (7) divided core swirls; six (6) solid core swirls; seventeen (17) latticino swirls; one (1) Joseph''s coat; one (1) coreless transparent swirl. Most with ground/faceted pontils. Ranging from 3/4" dia. to 2 1/8" dia. All likely German, early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Light scuffs, some clouding. Scattered chipping, largest approximately 3/4" dia. Most with dings and multiple subsurface moons. Largest latticino with 2" internal fracture. Largest latticino, largest divided core, and 4 solid core marbles appear to be polished.
