An assembled four-piece English Regency sterling silver tea service, all with fluted-shaped bodies embossed in high relief with scrolls, shells, flowers, and acanthus leaves, with acanthus capped scroll handles and spouts and gadroon borders. Lids with berry finials and the bodies with armorial engraving. Consisting of a coffee pot and creamer, with hallmarks for John Watson & Son, Sheffield, and a date letter for 1818, a waste bowl with hallmarks for Edward, Edward Jr., John & William Bernard, London, and a date letter for 1844, and a teapot with hallmarks for William Hunter, London, and a date letter for 1849. Ranging in size from 4 1/2 in. H x 7 in. W to 11 3/4 in. H x 9 1/4 in. W. 27.10, 10.64, 19.53, and 29.79 troy ounces. 87.06 total troy ounces.
CONDITION: All pieces are in overall good condition. The spout of the coffee pot is slightly bent to the right. All pieces with engraved armorials.
