Lot 662: Pair of French Sevres Style Porcelain Urns

Pair of Sevres-style porcelain lidded urns having celeste blue grounds with vignettes depicting cupids, musical imagery, and courting couples in landscape settings. Gilt highlights throughout and scrolling foliate bronze mounts terminating into goat head masks, the whole mounted onto a stepped square bronze base. Unmarked. 22 3/8 in. H x 11 1/4 in. W. French, late 19th century.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Scattered losses to gilt decoration on both urns, as well as losses to gilt surface on the bronze mounts on each urn.
