Both approximately7 1/8" H x 5" W x 1" D. Note: This 1842 History of Tennessee discusses the manners and customs of the inhabitants, wars with Native Americans, Battle of King's Mountain, and the history of the murderous Harpe brothers. CONDITION: Both copies in worn condition. Areas of loss, largest3 3/4" x 1 1/4", to marbled papersides. Areas of rubbing, scuffs, to leather. Corners bumped. Tears, largest2 1/8" x 5", toning/acid burn, foxing spots, areas of dampstaining, pencil inscriptions from previous owners, to be expected from age. Possibly missing front matter pages.
