Williams to Secretary of State William H. Seward, acknowledging the receipt of the “President’s Warrant of Pardon”, dated January 28, 1867, with an official Department of State certification cover page dated January 30, 1867, and facsimile signed by William H. Seward. Retains the Department of State seal, 3 pages. 10″ H x 8″ W.

CONDITION: 1st item: Fold lines, some areas of toning and spotting, and seam separation primarily to the center fold line. 2nd item: Overall very good condition with 2 horizontal fold lines.
