Gulbrand Sether (Illinois/Norway, 1869-1941) oil on canvas landscape painting titled "Mount Hood, Oregon" depicting Mt. Hood with sunlight hitting the mountain top and reflecting on water below. Signed lower right. Sight: 17 1/2" x 29 5/8", Framed: 23 5/8" x 35 5/8". Provenance: Brad Swanson Collection, Abingdon, VA. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light craquelure. Some abrasions to frame, mainly to corners and molding at top front.
