Japanese Tachi or kodachi with a possible 18th century blade. Blade likely cut down during WWII and retrofitted with a cord-wrapped ray skin handle and leather clad scabbard. Blade 25 1/2" L. Total Length: 35 1/4" Condition: Overall very good condition with dulled tip, some tarnish to blade, and wear to scabbard.
