Jules Claretie. 40 printed plates with hand coloring depicting military uniforms, civilian gentlemen’s clothing, and ladies dresses from the period of the French Revolution. Unknown edition size; rare. Plates approximately 14 in x 10 1/2 in. Overall: 14 1/2 in x 11 in. 

PROVENANCE: The estate of collector and designer Linda McCormick Felts, Memphis, TN.

CONDITION: Plates are in very good condition with minor edge chipping. Binding and cover are worn and very fragile and brittle. The first few pages are separated from the spine.
