George Northup (b. 1940, American) sculptural bronze lamp titled "Noontime Covey" depicting a group of eight quail resting on a shaped naturalistic base issuing a naturalistic branch standard from one end. Signed and numbered on the lower branch "Northup, #12/50". Fitted with a round copper shade and bronze quail finial. 30" H (includes finial) x 16" W x 11" D. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Cleveland, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, lamp is in functioning order. One area of slight bending to upper rim of shade, possibly in the making.
