Trinket box with ivory veneers over pine, slightly domed top on four ball feet, incised and stained floral decoration, the center panel decorated with a seashell. Illegible inscription and date on bottom. Probably Russian, Kholomogory or Archangel, 19th century. 2"H x 5" W x 4" D. Provenance: Estate of Salli LaGrone, Franklin, Tennessee. Condition: Missing lining, and key, chips at several corners, light staining.
