Thuss; Nashville: Marshall and Bruce Company, 1898 containing many photos of the exposition and Nashville area; one cover stating “Compliments of Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis R’y.” 3rd Item: Tennessee Centennial Exposition promotional calendar, each month featuring a drawing of a Centennial building by J.A. Hagstrom; 4th Item: A SOUVENIR OF THE TENNESSEE CENTENNIAL, Nashville: Gospel Advocate Publishing Company, 1897 an album of Tennessee Centennial Poems by Annie Somers Gilchrist, includes photos of prominent women in Tennessee; 5th Item: THE WAYNE HANDBOOK OF NASHVILLE AND THE TENNESSEE CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION, A Complete Guidebook for Tourists With Maps, Plans, Etc., 1897. Items range in size from 4 1/2 in. x 6 1/2 in. to 10 in. x 14 in.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen, Springfield, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Each item with age-related wear. 1st copy of Art Album… with duct tape reinforced spine and loose pages; 2nd copy with front few pages absent, including title page; Calendar with toning, chips and tears, predominantly to January page.
