Pair of Qianlong period Chinese Export Platters, each of canted rectangular form and decorated in matching blue and white landscape scenes with figures, boats, pagodas, mountains and willows. 18"x 15". Chinese, late 18th century.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of Runnymede Plantation, South Carolina.
CONDITION: One platter is in very good condition with some light utensil scratching, a few spots of wear to glaze, and a couple of tiny fleabite flakes. The other has a 14" L crack and 1/2" chip, with some scattered wear to glaze. Both with some light surface staining to undersides.
