Original cabinet and hardware, with baseball graphics and lettering on glass, “Home Run Ball 1¢ Gum.” Player instructions on glass read: “Get ready to bat ball by placing finger on trigger – insert penny and push slide all the way in to release ball – pull trigger to operate bat.” 21 in. L x 15 in. H x 11 in. W. Circa 1940’s.
CONDITION: Non-functioning. No breaks to glass. Some oxidation on hardware. Light scratches on the cabinet and base are consistent with use, including small initials (“MJ”) carved on the lower right side. Missing the top right screw on the upper metal plate closure. Slight chips to the veneer on the back wood panel. Missing key.
