A carved and painted Bufflehead hen decoy, attributed to Ira Hudson or the Hudson family, with tack eyes and a fluted tail. Possibly painted by Delbent Hudson, Ira’s youngest son, who painted many of Ira Hudson’s decoys during the last third of Ira’s carving career. 6 in. H x 12 in. L. Circa 1930s.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, with some minor wear consistent with age.
