Lot 581: Allens Red Tame Cherry Syrup Soda Fountain Dispenser and Glass

Allens Red Tame Cherry “Cherryallen” soda fountain syrup dispenser and glass. Red enameled lettering on a white satin glass globe, polished brass lever and piping stamped “Cherryallen” and “Multiplex,”  atop a footed marble pedestal. The lot includes a drinking glass etched with “Allens Red Tame Cherry.” Dispenser: 29 1/2 in. H x 7 1/2 W. Circa 1920.

PROVENANCE: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen, Springfield, Tennessee.

CONDITION: Glass globe is in good overall condition, with slight staining to glass and detachable metal cap. Marble base is in good condition, with a chip to bottom corner. Possible restoration/re-surfacing of piping and base components.  Drinking glass is in good original condition.
