English Victorian 4-piece sterling silver tea service, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl, all of lobed form with projecting high relief floral decoration at sides, scrolled bases and feet, with C scroll handles, the pots with acorn finials. Cream and sugar with gilded interiors. All pieces with engraved armorial crest of a lion with dagger and hallmarked for William Theobalds and Robert Metcalfe, Atkinson, London, 1839. Teapot 10″ H. Combined weight: 81.86 oz troy.
CONDITION: Sugar bowl has a repaired foot. Otherwise the set is in very good condition, with minimal denting and scratching.
