George Herman “Babe” Ruth M101-7 Sporting News Supplemental Series, PSA graded authentic 1.5. During the 1920’s, the Sporting News newspaper inserted 7 1/4″ x 10″ oversized baseball “cards” into their weekly supplements. Of the 1926-27 edition of 13, the most desirable is arguably Babe Ruth. NOTE: Please see Lot 580 in this auction for 9 other pieces of M101-7 from this set.
CONDITION: Very good condition with sharp corners, no tears or chips; overall even toning, very slight wrinkling (not creased); encapsulated in PSA acrylic case.
