Pedro Cervantes (Mexico, b. 1933) welded iron or steel sculpture depicting two fighting cocks both captured in mid-air. Mounted on a rectangular wood base and signed “Cervantes” on a plaque mounted on the base. Sculpture: 17 in. H x 26 in. W x 10 in. D. Height with base: 20 1/2 in. H. 20th century.
CONDITION: Both birds are in the original oxidized condition with no losses. The top of the metal base with scattered minor abrasions.
