Three (3) Civil War era items belonging to Confederate officer Martin B. Key, 18th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry of Madison Co., TN, including a pair of hand-forged spurs and a bowie knife with wood grip. This lot is accompanied by a photocopy of this officer''s portrait. These items were purchased from the family in Williamson County, TN in 2003. Items range from 5 1/4" H x 3 3/4" W to 13" L.
PROVENANCE: Private Southern Collection.
CONDITION: One side of grip missing on bowie knife, and guard is loose. Oxidation, pitting to knife blade and spurs.
