Persian Serab style tribal runner rug, wool on wool, five central medallions on an ivory ground and two major borders, in colors of blue, red, rust, coral and ivory. Signed in border and one end with figural dog. 14' 1 1/2" x 4' 8 1/2". Second quarter of the 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Middle Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with wear and losses to pile, One end with a couple of patches around the medallion and to one end, approx. 3 1/2" area of loss.
