Manhattan .28 caliber "pepperbox" percussion pistol, marked side of barrels "Manhattan F.A. Mfg. Co, New York", and "Cast Steel"; double action, engraving to sides, original wood grips,. Stamped "5" on cylinder, frame, trigger guard, underneath left side, underneath right grip, and mainspring; overall 7 1/2" L, Barrel 3 3/4" L. As this is an antique black powder firearm, no FFL is necessary.
CONDITION: No rust, very slight pitting; Action cycles cylinder, raises and releases hammer, but occasionally does not, needing a spring adjustment; Missing one cap nipple; Muzzle has 2 chips, one with 3/4" crack along side.
