Includes 2 Confederate buttons: 1 Confederate Engineers Script, and 1 Confederate Artillery. The other buttons consist of Civil War era and post Civil War, including: 1 Civil War era military button, 2 Civil War Union Eagle buttons, 4 General Staff Officer Coat buttons, 2 US Army buttons, 2 Railroad Brakeman buttons, 1 US Navy Chief Petty Officer button (late 19th century/ early 20th century), 4 Small Agriculture-Commerce buttons, 4 Large Agriculture-Commerce buttons, and 1 Police button – (1870s-1890s). Also included are two pieces of Confederate paper currency; One two dollar denomination, Richmond, VA, 1862. One fifty cents denomination, Charleston, SC.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Donna C. Rogers, Greeneville, TN.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with some artificial patina on buttons. Two pieces of paper currency have wear and folds.
