Kentucky half stock .36 caliber percussion rifle, octagonal barrel marked "J. Griffith, Louisville, KY". Brass hardware and patch box, double-set triggers, wooden ramrod. Stock with black finish, engraved hammer, and lock plate. Overall 60" L; Barrel 44" L.
CONDITION: Most of original finish to metal is gone. Engraving worn on lock plate. Crack in wood stock in front of lock plate on right side and crack in stock on left side behind screw. Front sight worn. Hammer locks back and releases with trigger. Bore shows pitting.
