12 ga. side by side double-barreled shotgun with extractors, marked “C.M. Mc Clung & Co.” to both sides of receiver and “Prize Quality Damascus Steel” to barrel rib. 32 in. barrel with bead center sight, iron hardware with filigree and checkered design, retains dark brown patina; Pistol grip stock with checkering to wrist, decorative deer buttplate. G168 serial number to underside of barrels. Overall 48 1/2 in. L. Circa early 20th C. Note: The well-known downtown Knoxville warehouse hardware store, C.M. McClung and Company, was in business for almost a century. They rebranded items such as tools, guns, and knives with the McClung name. Firearms were generally provided by the Crescent Arms Company. NOTE: Most firearms made after 1898 require passing an FFL background check prior to transfer. The date of production for this gun makes it subject to FFL rules. Please be prepared with proper identification and information. If you do not reside in Tennessee, an FFL dealer in your state is required to complete the transfer.

CONDITION: Trigger guard is dented in and broken at the front. Lower section of decorative butt plate absent. Scuffs and scratches to stock. Both hammers hold and release with trigger pulls.
