Percussion full stock rifle by Leman, .42 caliber, octagonal barrel marked, "Leman Lancaster PA Warranted", unmarked lockplate, brass fittings and patchbox. Full length cherry stock. Ramrod holder with brass bands, double set triggers. 47 3/4" barrel length. Second quarter of the 19th century. 2nd item – Powder horn with wooden plug secured by nail braids, older patina on horn and plug. 10 1/2"L. Mid 19th century. 3rd item – Leather pouch with triangular cover, leather strap with metal adjusting buckle. 10"W. Mid 19th century. Condition: Rifle with brown/silver patina on barrel, scattered abrasions and bruises to cherry stock, loss to some of the edges of forestock near barrel. 2nd item – 20th century screw finial for wooden plug. 3rd item – leather strap broken in two places, part of strap missing, cracking of leather and wear/abrasions to edges.
