Lot 524: Mansfield & Lamb U.S. MDL 1860 Light Cavalry Sword w Steel Scabbard & Leather Hanger

U.S. MODEL 1860 light cavalry sword with steel scabbard and leather hanger. Steel curved blade marked “Mansfield & Lamb” on the oval left side of the ricasso and stamped U.S. CGS. 1862 on the right side of the ricasso. Brass hilt with leather-wrapped grip. Steel scabbard retains the leather sword hanger with brass fittings. 43 1/2 in. L. 

CONDITION: Overall very good condition with blade having minor grey spotting.
