Southwest Native American Wood & Rawhide Drum and Beater, stretched rawhide over wood with rawhide handle and separate wood and suede beater. 1st prize winner in 1964 Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial, Gallup, New Mexico. Overall good condition with one tear on edge of rawhide and small dents in wood drum. Drum: 13 5/8" H x 14 1/2" D; Stick; 17" L. Provenance: Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
