Colt Banker''s Special double action revolver, chambered in .38 special. Serial #344687 corresponds to the year 1931. Marked "38 BANKERS SPECIAL" on left side of barrel, with Colt''s 2 line patent information on the right, engraved on left side of frame with Colt rampant horse logo. Original dark brown walnut grips, each with Colt rampant horse logos, 2" round barrel, fluted cylinder, checkered hammer and trigger, and standard blade front sight. The Banker''s Special was made from 1928 to 1943; in 1934 the squared butt frame was changed to a rounded. NOTE: Most firearms made after 1898 require passing an FFL background check prior to transfer. The date of production for this gun makes it subject to FFL rules. Please be prepared with proper identification and information. If you do not reside in Tennessee, an FFL dealer in your state is required to complete the transfer.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, very lightly used. Retains 90% of its original factory blue with minimal wear to cylinder and back strap, action functions smoothly, with shiny bore and sharp rifling.
