Act of August 19th, 1861 (Criswell 82), on white paper; with Equestrian statue of Washington on the capitol grounds in Richmond at center. Issued June 10, 1862. Nos. 1013, 1015, and 1017, each with 11 coupons remaining and signed by Register of the Confederate States Treasury Robert Tyler, son of U.S. President John Tyler. 4th-5th Items: Two (2) Confederate $500 bonds, C.S.A. Act of August 19, 1861, (Criswell 57), on white paper, with portrait of Judah P. Benjamin and Child’s head at bottom. Issued June 10, 1862. Nos. 299 and 300, each signed by Tyler with 14 coupons remaining. Framed 16 in. x 16 in. 6th Item: 19th C. handwritten “memorandum” document listing these (and other) bonds “as the property of the owner in case of loss or destruction”. Undated.
CONDITION: Each in very good overall condition with minor wrinkling and toning, especially along fold lines. Letter with chips along edges.
