Red Grooms (American/Nashville, b. 1937) "Mountaintime" print and book, 2 items. 1st item: Lithograph with collage titled "Mountaintime" depicting Western themed images including the "Art Ranch", Coors beer hot air balloon, 20th Century Fox spotlights, golfers, ski lift (rendered using string for cables), and plane labeled "Aspen." Knestrick no. 89. Signed and dated "Red Grooms '81" lower right and numbered "32/65" lower left. Float mounted on a white mat in a giltwood frame. 30" H x 22 1/4" W. 2nd item: Author signed and inscribed copy of the Red Grooms print catalog raisonne "Red Grooms: The Graphic Works" by Walter Knestrick, 2001. Published by Harry N. Abrams, New York. Quarto, 320 pages with illustrations, hard bound in light grey cloth with gilt silver lettering to front cover and spine, includes book jacket. Inscribed "For Bob & Bette Best Always Walter G. Knestrick (and Sarah)" with an illustration of Knestrick in red and black permanent marker, half title page. "Mountaintime" is pictured and discussed on page 127. 12 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W x 1 3/8" D. Both items late 20th century. CONDITION: Print is slipping in frame, otherwise excellent condition. Book in good condition.
