Three (3) Ogden Minton Pleissner (American, 1905-1983) hunting and fishing color collotype prints. 1st item: Print titled “October Snow” that depicts a hunter in a snowy landscape who targets a bird in flight. From the edition of 350 printed for the Anglers Club of New York. Signed in pencil to lower right margin. Printed text to upper left margin reads “Privately Printed for the Members of the Anglers Club of New York in a Limited Edition of 350 Copies.” With Anglers Club of New York embossed seal to lower margin along with Fine Art Trade Guild and printers’ blindstamps. Housed under glass in a wooden frame with tan mat. Sight: 17 in. H x 24 1/4 in. W. Framed: 26 1/2 in. H. x 34 in. W. 2nd & 3rd items: Two (2) lithographs, “Trout Fishing” and “Salmon Casting,” that depict men fishing on rivers. Both signed in pencil to lower right margins. Both published by Frost & Reed with printed “F.&R.” text to lower left, in images, and printed by Arthur Jaffee, with Fine Art Trade Guild and Arthur Jaffe blindstamps to margins. Both housed under glass in a wooden frames with tan mats. Both sights: 15 1/4 in. H x 23 in. W. Both frames: 24 3/4 in. H x 32 1/2 in. W.
CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition. 1st item with minor waviness to sheet and minor foxing, especially to upper right, in sky. Sheet is mounted so that extreme sight edges turn slightly downward. Items 2-3 also with minor foxing, also primarily in sky. Not examined out of frames. Frames with minor abrasions and losses.
