Two (2) carved and painted duck decoys, canvasback hen and goldeneye drake, likely by Mason Decoy Factory (1896-1924) Detroit, MI. Premier grade with hollow bodies, glass eyes, swirled feathers, and relief bill carving. Initials AT painted to underside of drake. Both approximately 6 1/2" H x 14" W x 6" D. Likely first quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Both in good condition with use and age wear including scattered paint loss, wood shrinkage, and general wear. Drake with wood loss to tip of bill and replaced eye.
