1 Gorham coin silver "Medallion" pattern handled cup or mug, with beaded upper and lower edge, the slightly tapering sides adorned with female mask, the side engraved "To Fannie, July 24,1869". Old lion-anchor-g marks to underside with number 53. Oral history states that this cup was purchased in Houston by a Civil War soldier who served in Hood's Army Regiment in Texas. Acquired by the current owner in Houston. 3"H, 3.19 oz troy. 2nd item – St. Louis, Missouri coin silver cream jug, plain Neoclassical form with c -scroll handle, incuse marks Jaccard St. Louis. 6-3/4"H, 4.965 oz troy. Provenance: Private Arkansas collection. Condition: Both items very good condition with a few scattered, tiny dents.
