Pair of two (2) carved giltwood French Louis XVI style tub chairs with ribbon-carved frames crested with flowers, acanthus carved curved arms, a tripartite upholstered back, upholstered seats with rails and skirt, and fluted legs. Both covered in white and pink brocade foliate fabric. 30 5/8" H x 31 1/2" W x 23 1/2" D. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both chairs in overall good condition with some wear to gilding on legs, later upholstery.
