Hallmarks for George Baskerville, London, 1827. 5 3/4"H. 4.03 oz troy. 2nd item: Silver hinged oval box with gilt interior, body with bright cut floral and diamond decoration lid with shield, bow and arrow in oval cartouche. Worn hallmarks on interior of base and interior of lid, possibly German or French, late 18th century. 1"H x 3 1/8"W x 1 1/8"D. 2.1 oz troy. Provenance: Property of a private Kansas collection. Condition: 1st item: Minor dents in base. Fleabites in body. Monogrammed. 2nd item: 3/4" crease in lid, 3/16" dent along left edge. Fleabites in body and base.
