Signed J. Hoare & Company brilliant cut glass ice cream tray with floral, hobstar, and cross hatch decoration. Acid etched signature "J. Hoare & Co./Corning/1853" to the center of the tray. 2 1/2" H x 17 3/8" W x 10 3/8" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: A private Alabama collection. CONDITION: Scattered fleabites to the sawtooth rim. Some minor scratching to the interior. Some firing flaws visible to base.
